Microsoft responded on Wednesday to complaints that Windows Phone 7 devices were chewing up large amounts of normally undetected data. The company explained that at least one of the flaws was sparked by a "third-party solution" often reached from WP7 was triggering the larger downloads. It told the Post-Intelligencer that it was both helping the unnamed outside firm get the issue fixed and preparing workarounds "in case those are needed."...
