During a conference at the Research Faculty Summit 2011, Craig Mundie, the chief research and strategy officer from Microsoft Research Connections, confirmed that the Avatar Kinect is indeed coming out in the next few days. While he didn't specify a date, Mundie did say it "will be coming very, very soon," so the rumored July 27 date is certainly believable. He then went on to say "in the few days that remain" and confirmed that it will go live worldwide....
