Every two years, Photokina, the world’s biggest trade fair for photographic and imaging industries, is being held in Cologne, Germany.
This time I am lucky enough to be there and present the Nokia N8 with its fantastic 12 MP sensor, Xenon flash and Carl Zeiss optics.

The new Nokia N8 is the world best camera phone and I can honestly tell you that all the Photokina visitors are really impressed by the quality of the photos and videos taken with it.

But I also had a chance to be astonished! I met the probably most frequent visitor: a man who attended, at the age of 10, the first Photokina in 1950. Meeting him was one of my most emotional moments.
I’m also quite sure he already ordered his next Nokia

At the Nokia booth, which is hosted by Carl Zeiss, you can appreciate some of the professional shots made possible by the Nokia N8.

We prepared for instance this beautiful photobook full of unedited pictures taken in Singapore a couple of weeks ago. You can also compare apples with apples and see for yourself the different results provided by the Nokia N8, other smartphones and compact digital cameras.

Another example of what is possible with the Nokia N8 camera is the following stop-motion animation, which sets a Guinness World Record:

Fantastic isn’t it? And if you also want to become a great artist with the Nokia N8, you just have to follow Electricpig.co.uk suggestions.
Those passionate guys recently blogged about all Nokia N8 camera specifications (for instance the mechanical shutter or 1/1.83” sensor) and published a hardcore photography guide for the Nokia N8. Honestly, I couldn’t do any better.

The third part of the guide is obviously my favorite: once you’ve shot so many fantastic pictures and videos, what do you do with them?
Of course you share them with the world
At home, on your biggest screen, thanks to the HDMI cable: it’s perfect to relieve your last vacation.
Or with your friends on Facebook and Twitter: just use Check in on Maps or the Social client integrated in all the Symbian^3 devices.
And if you want to share your media with hundreds of social networks with just one click, you can download Pixelpipe from the Store: it seamlessly integrates with your Nokia N8 and the Send function of the camera.

If you need to refine your pieces of art, the Nokia N8 offers fantastic editing options for your photos and videos: you can cut, resize, crop, add frames, adjust brightness, contrasts, saturation…
And if you want to do even more, the Store offers an entire category rich of applications for all the photography needs: which one is your favorite?

The real photographers among you would love to use App Wizard to make their portfolio available to millions of Ovi users.
Personally, I love to see on my Nokia N8 my friend Miemo’s last shots… Amazing.
