Despite the fact that Android is only available on a few handsets at this point, that isn’t stopping manufacturers from adopting a new strategy with Android. Initially, Android found its way to a handful of high-end phones but manufacturers across the board seem anxious to get Android onto more accessible handsets. Next in line: the Samsung i5700 Galaxy Lite. The release version likely won’t be quite as loud as this prototype but if you can work your way past the lime green you’re looking at a pretty solid little handset. Spec highlights include a full AMOLED touchscreen display, 1GB of storage, a 3.2 megapixel camera (no flash) and Wi-Fi. Not bad, not bad — definitely more capable than other upcoming budget Android phones we’re seeing take shape, though pricing is still a mystery.
