The Nokia E71x is now present at some AT&T stores and may be available for purchase as we believed starting tomorrow, 4 May. I also just went to the AT&T online store and was able to add the Nokia E71x to my shopping cart. It is priced at $299.99 with a $150 online discount and a $50 mail-in rebate for a total of $99.99. I may swing by the AT&T store to see what I could pick one up for since I am an existing customer with about a year and a half left on my contract after buying the HTC Fuze last Fall. I have not seen what the price will be for existing customers, but sure hope I could get it less than $300.

The data plan pricing for the E71x is the standard PDA Personal plan for $30/month. They also have the PDA Personal Bundle (includes unlimited data and unlimited text messaging) for $50/month and the PDA Personal with tethering for $60/month. I pay $30/month now with my HTC Fuze plan that also works on the iPhone 3G. The tethering plan is the only one that specifically states there is a 5GB limit, but I am pretty sure all AT&T data plans have this limit in the fine print.

Other service options with the E71x include phone insurance ($4.99/month), roadside assistance ($2.99/month), AT&T Navigator ($9.99/month), and video share options for $9.99 and $4.99/month. I personally want to try out the AT&T Navigator option that is the TeleNav software on the S60 platform. This is the first S60 client I have seen from TeleNav and their client on the T-Mobile G1 absolutely rocks!

Was anyone able to pick one of these E71x units up this weekend at their local store?
