LG reveals LEX8 TV with 'nano' lighting

LG in the run-up to the IFA show in Germany has brought out a new flagship HDTV. The LEX8 is LG's first TV to use "nano lighting;" the LCD panel is covered in a film with nano-sized dots that spread light more evenly from LED backlights and produce a clearer overall image, according to LG. The set also brings a new form of local LED dimming that can control individual lights to further improve the contrast and accuracy....
