Hello Everyone! My name is Al Kallel and I am one of the lucky Nokians to work on bringing you a really rich and fun social experience on your phone.

This is a very exciting time for being mobile and in touch — never before has our social life been able to travel around with us in our pocket so easily. It’s an exciting time for me too — as I have been lucky enough to get my hands on a prototype Nokia N8 recently and I wanted to share with you how I have been using it:

My pictures have location identity — I snap photos from my phone, location tag them, and share them with my favorite social networks all from one place.
My 12-mega pixel HD video camera, with its simple video editing tools, brings my media postings to life.
My contacts are now live with real-time social updates — my friends’ latest social networking profile pictures automatically populate their Contacts card along with what they are up to, and where they are. So now I am always in the loop.
My friends and family are really important to me and I know that keeping in touch with them means more than reading the latest status update. Now with Ovi social experience, staying close to what matters most really is possible.
